There are plenty of people complaining about people being on their phones too much, a lack of literacy, a lack of awareness, a lack of creativity, art and innovation. I didn’t want to be one of those people who only complained. All of those complaints, while valid, only add to a pile of more mounting complaints, and I didn’t want to contribute to a pile that was already chock-full. Instead, I wanted to add to the pile of solutions, education and resources.

While I think that initial criticisms are necessary, and are an introductory first step towards growth, we must not root there. It can’t just stop at criticism, we must begin to both look for and create solutions. The pile grows, festers, and turns acidic and ends up burning a big acid hole through the floor.

I hope, that in my works, past present and future, that I am always working towards a solution in spite of the undesired problem, and I hope that in my pursuit, I can encourage others along the way.
